Pakistan Cricket Board Executive Committee head Mr. Najam Sethi has advised PCB not to send Pakistan team in India if they get offer from BCCI to play series in India. Before few days back BCCI’s President Mr. Shashank Manohar said India might host Pakistan for 5 ODIs and 2 Twenty20s if Indian government approves the series.
Sethi said, “If we get a formal proposal suggesting that the series be played in India, I would categorically reject it and advise the board of governors to not accept any such offers.”
It seems like Indo-Pak December series is not going to be happened as both boards officials are trying to put own leg above than other. BCCI and PCB signed MoU last year to play six bilateral series’ from 2015 to 2023 and the first series is scheduled to be held in United Arab Emirates in December-January.
“I think it is time the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) honoured the agreement signed between the two countries last year,” Sethi added.
