49. Six on first ball of test match

Chris Gayle is the only batsman to hit six on the very first ball of a test match. He hit 6 against Sohag Gazi who was playing his first test match for Bangladesh in 2012.

48. Don Bradman’s epic hit wicket dimissal

Lala Amarnath (Nanik Amarnath Bharadwaj) was the only bowler who dismissed Don Bradman hit wicket in test cricket.

47. Players connected with coach during a world cup match

In 1999 cricket world cup, South Africa’s captain Hansie Cronje and Allan Donald wore ear pieces to communicate with coach Bob Woolmer. Indian captain Sourav Ganguly saw Cronje talking to himself and he immediately informed umpire about it. After this both Cronje and Donald removed the ear pieces.

Interestingly both players didn’t get any issue further as it was not considered against the laws of game.

Jim Laker is the only bowler who took 19 wickets in a test match. He dismissed 19 Australian batsmen in the fourth test match of 1956 Ashes series.

Australia scored 359 runs thrice in One-Day Internationals and all 3 teams opposition team was India. In 2003 world cup final, 2004 and 2013 bilateral series Australia did this.

Charles Bannerman was first player who played first ever ball, scored first ever run and first ever century in cricket history. He played for Australia in 1877 test against England.
