The next edition of ICC Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be held at India in 2023. It will be first occasion when India will host a world cup solely. Previously country hosted 1987, 1996 and 2011 world cup tournaments jointly with neighboring countries.
According to International Cricket Council’s policies, world cup is awarded to countries as per rotation policy. There is 20-year time rotation policy for awarding a world cup event. BCCI’s reputation in ICC, has awarded them another world cup in just 12 years span.
Ten teams will be competing in the 2023 world cup just like previous edition in England & Wales in 2019. This competition will be played in October-November and final is scheduled to be held on 26th Nov.
