UEFA official referees committee unveiled the 18 referees list for 2016 Euro in France beginning from 10th June. 17 countries referee will be maintaining all football match rules, law and orders on the ground. Two England referees Mark Clattenburg and Martin Atkinson are named in the list of Euro 2016 officiates. The appointed eighteen referees along with assistant and additional referees will be officiating all 51 matches at UEFA Euro 2016.
Referees team will reach to France on 6 June before the four days of tournament’s inaugural game between France and Albania at Stade de France in Saint-Denis.

Each referee team will be having 1 main referee, 2 assistant referees and 2 additional assistant referees.

The list of 36 assistant referees and 36 additional referees will be revealed in February 2016.

Referee appointment rules for a Euro game
- For a match, referee will be confirmed before three days of starting the game.
- Referee for the final Euro 2016 will be announced after the completion of semi-final stage.
- No referee can officiate the national team’s match unless it’s a knockout game.
