St Kitts Patriots were batting first who were heavily dependent on Kiwi star Martin Guptill and local lad Marlon Samuels. They got off to a horrible start when they lost Guptill and the top three when just 19 runs were on the board. Samuels along with Devon Thomas took the charge and they counter attacked the Zouks’ bowlers.

Thomas hit three huge sixes before holing out to Eddie Leie at 34. Samuels continued from the other end. Afridi was expected to fire but it was Sohail Tanvir who played a cameo at the end to take the Patriots to 149. Samuels reached his fifty as well (52 off 37).

Charles continued to heap sixes and eventually pulled 5 sixes in his unbeaten 69 to take the Zouks to their second triumph. Canadian bowler Nikhil Dutta was the lone bowler with mentionable figures of 2/32. St. Lucia Zouks won the match by 7 wickets with 26 balls to spare.
