Multi Screen Media (MSM) who owns the Sony Network, has signed deal with ProSportify to broadcast the Pro Wrestling League over the period of 5 years. The inaugural edition of Pro Wrestling League (PWL) is scheduled to take place between 10 and 27 December.
ProSportify Director Mr. Vishal Gurnani said, “Our mission is to build noncricket properties in India. It was crucial to tie up with the right telecast partner who will help us build the league. MSM created the Indian Premier League and our visions matched.”
There will be 18 matches played throughout the competition in which 6 teams will take participation. Sony Max, Sony Six and Sony Pal will be telecasting live matches of Pro Wrestling League.
“ProSportify is delighted to have reached such a significant agreement with MSM and we are looking forward to working together to offer wrestling fans across India an extensive coverage of the tournament. MSM is an experienced partner in the broadcasting of major international sports events and their expertise will help this league gain the right platform in promoting the sport in India,” Vishal added.
ProSpotify chief managing director Kartikeya Sharma said, “MSM has an outstanding reputation as a sports broadcaster and has played an integral role in promoting and growing the sport events in the country. We look forward to this relationship and the widest possible reach ever for PWL.
