New South Wales pace bowler Sean Abbott has been registered for the Indian Premier League 2015 auction which is believed to take place next month. He was in depression after Phil Hughes death as his bouncer caused Hughes to death in November 2014. But he returned and started to play.
Currently Abbott is playing Australian KFC T20 Big Bash tournament for Sydney Sixers.
As per the news published in MumbaiMirror there are number of franchises interested to buy Sean Abbott in IPL auction 2015. It said, “Abbott, 22, listed at a base price of Rs 50 lakh, is no longer just a curiosity. He makes cricket sense. Top officials of two IPL franchisees said Abbott would definitely be picked up by a team.”
The franchises didn’t disclose their names as it may reveal their strategies for the upcoming IPL 2015 edition. There will be 171 players available in the auction.
