Currently out of focus from Indian men’s hockey team Sandeep Singh is looking to score maximum goals in upcoming hockey India league 2015 edition. He is also aiming to win the third season of HIL tournament scheduled to be begun on 22 January.

Sandeep Singh was the top goal scorer in first two Hockey India League seasons.

He had scored 11 goals in each event. In the inaugural HIL tournament he scored 11 goals for Mumbai Magicians whereas in previous season he scored eleven goals for Jaypee Punjab Warriors.

Sandeep is a perfect Drag Flicker and good defender in the team. In recent training sessions he has been looking to improve his skills and sharpening the penalty corner skills.

He said, “I am currently working on various skills, sharpening myself in penalty corner and trying some new shots. However, hockey is a team game, where everyone needs to contribute to win a match.
