Former Caribbean leg spinner and President of the West Indies Players Association (WIPA) Dinanath Ramnarine has said that destructive middle order batsman Kieron Pollard and former ODI captain Dwayne Bravo are not going to Australia/New Zealand to represent West Indies in 11th cricket world cup beginning from the 14th of next month.
Ramnarine confirmed the exclusion news of both players on micro blogging site twitter though West Indies cricket board haven’t released the 15-members squad for ICC world cup 2015. Dinanath Ramnarine tweeted, “Confirmed Bravo and Pollard are both out of the 2015 WC. The WICB has the full support of the TTCB, so well done to both WICB and TTCB.

Currently Pollard and Bravo are part of West Indies T20 squad against South Africa tour 2014-15. But both players are sacked from One-Day Internationals last month by selection committee headed by Clive Lloyd. The reason of exclusion for both players is meant to be the dispute between players and the players association.
West Indies have appointed Jason Holder as the captain of ODI team in five One Day series against South Africa and is expected that he’ll be announced World Cup team captain as well.
