However there are few options in the platinum category but we’re focus on bringing player having caliber like Smith poses and McCullum fits in the role.
The fact is Brendon lead New Zealand side and has been one of the destructive batsmen in the cricket especially in twenty20 format. McCullum was in our choice while picking player in the draft but Smith was chosen over him.
“McCullum was in the race to be in our squad but eventually Steve Smith was the first choice. Baz wasn’t in prime form last year and he struggled in other leagues as well. But his recent performance in Big Bash League, has enforced us to think about him again and we’d be making final call within a week,” he added.
Brendon McCullum is in terrific in the ongoing KFC Big Bash League as he has smacked two fifties for Brisbane Heat against Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Renegades.
It will be interesting to see how McCullum will make it to PSL 2019 as currently he is playing in BBL and semifinals are scheduled to play on 14 and 15 February meanwhile final to be played on 17 Feb. Pakistan Super League to kick off on 14th February and Multan to play their first game of season on 15th Feb against Karachi Kings.
Brendon McCullum was part of Lahore Qalandars in the 2018 PSL T20 season but he wasn’t picked by any franchise during players draft for fourth edition.
