South African bowlers have destroyed Sri Lankan strong batting line-up and they part-time spinner JP Duminy has taken first hat-trick in cricket world cup for Proteas.

This is the second hat-trick of 2015 world cup as in the initial stage of tournament England’s Steven Finn took three wickets on successive deliveries against Australia. Whole Sri Lanka team all out on 133 runs in 37.2 overs.
Sri Lanka won toss and chose bat first which was good decision. It was good batting wicket at Sydney Cricket Ground. Sri-Lanka lost two quick wickets on the score of just 4 runs in fifth over. After this wicket, Sri Lankan batting was collapsed totally and spinners Tahir and Duminy took crucial wickets. Imran took wicket of Jayawardene when Sri Lanka’s score was 81 in 24th over.
Last world cup playing Mahela Jayawardene made just 4 runs in this knockout match whereas Kumar Sangakakra was the highest scorer in Sri Lankan innings and he scored 45 runs in 95 balls.
JP Duminy took Angelo Matthews, Nuwan Kulasekara and Tharindu Kaushal’s wickets on consecutive three balls. He got big wicket of Mathews on the last ball of 33rd over and then in his very next 35th over he took wickets of Kulasekara and Kaushal on first two balls of over.
Tahir took 4 wickets and Duminy 3 wickets whereas Steyn, Abbott and Morkel shared 1-1 wicket each.
