As per declared PAK team for Bangladesh tour 2015, Misbah-Ul-Haq (Tests), Azhar Ali (ODIs) and Shahid Afridi (T20s) to represent the nation as captains. Fawad Alam is included in the One-Day International side as he was out from the world cup squad.
Saeed Ajmal is also returning to Pakistan team after his clearance of bowling action. Pakistan will be playing three ODIs, one twenty20 and two test matches series in Bangladesh.
Newly appointed Pakistan Cricket Chief selector Haroon Rasheed said, “We carried out an in-depth discussion about Pakistan’s World Cup performance, our future strategy and how we can take the team forward. The Test ranking is good but the area of concern is the one-day team as our ranking is quite low, around seventh position. We need stability and the upcoming Bangladesh tour is very important and we have to give continuity to the team.”
