International Cricket Council’s 2009 twenty20 world cup champions Pakistan will be appearing in the 7th edition of tournament to be held in Australia. Pakistan team qualified directly for 2020 world cup and they’ll be playing super-12 stage of championship because of their good ICC T20 rankings they get bye from group round games.
Men in green will be playing Australia, New Zealand, West Indies and two teams qualified from group stage in the 2020 world cup. And if Pakistan manages to put themselves in the top two teams after completion of all super-12 group game, they’ll qualify for semifinal matches to be played on 11th November.
Pakistan to play opening match of ICC T20 world cup against Australia on 24 October 2020 at SCG in Sydney. They will their last group game against qualifying team on 6th November at MCG, Melbourne.
