Kamran Ghulam, regular performer at the Pakistan’s domestic circuit has smashed brilliant century on his international debut against England in the second test match being played at Multan. He walked into the middle when hosts lost two quick wickets on just 19 score after winning the toss and chose to bat. Opener Saim Ayub built good partnership with Kamran to give Pakistan hope to come back into the match.
Pakistan made couple of changes to their playing XI from the first test and Kamran Ghulam replaced Babar Azam in the team at 4 no. position in batting lineup. Ghulam took full advantage of this given opportunity and scored magnificent 118 runs. He has 16 first class hundreds before making appearance in international cricket. Saim Ayub made 77 before getting dismissed by Potts.
Apart from these two, no other Pakistani batsman was able to score good runs and at the end of day, Pakistan were on 259 for the loss of 5 wickets. Jack Leach took two wickets on day-1. England are already leading the series 1-0 winning the opening test at the same venue and pitch.
