South African middle order batsman JP Duminy is making comeback in the 14-member squad for the three twenty20 matches home series against West Indies. Duminy had been facing long term injury hence he was out from the national side. But now he is fit and will make appear in ODIs as well if he is selected for T20I.

Aaron Phangiso is also included in the SA 20-20 squad.
JP Duminy may not play starting two t20s but will be playing third match. Faf Du Plessis has been appointed as the captain of Proteas team while Duminy is not a part of team. Cricket South Africa said, “will not play the first two matches but should be available for selection for the third.”
Wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock has been ruled out from the team due to injury. Morne Van Wyk has replaced de Kock in the side. South Africa board has rested senior players like Ab de Villiers, Hashim Amla, Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn for T20s.
