The 13th edition of ICC World Cup is all set to take place in India. 10 national cricket teams are set to compete in the event. Originally the tournament was scheduled to play from 9 February to 26 March but in July 2020, International Cricket Council announced that event would be played in October-November. England is the title defending champion in 2023 cricket world cup.
Opening match to take place between England and New Zealand on October 5 at Ahmedabad. Netherlands are the only associate team in this year’s cricket world cup.
2023 world cup‘s final match will be hosted at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19th November. The ground has capacity of 1,32,000 spectators.
