England cricket board have revealed the squad for first test against India schedules to play from 1st August, 2018. Spin bowler Adil Rashid has been included in English side for the five test matches series opener at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
Not only Rashid but also England’s prime spinner and bowling all-rounder Moeen Ali is also named in the English side. Essex cricketer Jamie Porter earned the maiden call-up in national side. All-rounder Chris Woakes has been ruled out from the side due to injury concerns.

Joe Root will be leading the home side and will be crucial batsman at the top of the order along with Alastair Cook, Keaton Jennings, Jos Buttler and all-rounders Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali.
