England Cricket Test Team has been declared for West Indies tour. Alastair Cook will be leading the English side. Jonathan Trott is returning to national team after almost 18 month time period whereas three new players Mark Wood, Adam Lyth and Adil Rashid are going to make debut for England. The English team will play three test match series in West Indies beginning from 13 April.
National Selector James Whitaker commented on the inclusion of such new cricketers and also Trott’s comeback. He said, “Jonathan Trott produced some outstanding performances for Warwickshire last summer scoring five centuries and also made an unbeaten double hundred during the recent successful England Lions tour. He is a player of proven international pedigree and we are delighted to welcome him back into the squad.
