The tickets of 2019 Copa America tournament went on sale on Thursday. As per apnews, first phase of tickets sale will see a total of 228,000 tickets will be sold in duration. Price of a ticket as low as 16$ which equals to 60 Brazilian Reals.
Brazil to host South America’s gala soccer competition from 14th June across six venues in the country. Ticket price ranges from 60 to 890 Brazilian Reals which makes equal to 16 to 240 USD. As per report, 770,000 tickets will be sold later to the year.
Copa America tournament director of operations Agberto Guimaraes believes that fans will come in huge number to witness world class football event. Fans showed great interest during 2014 world cup and we could hope for the same this year as well.

However Brazil is facing financial crisis since 2015 and tickets sale can get low momentum but as tournament dates come near, fans will buy tickets and witness the world class event having 12 teams.
“We have a great product in our hands, we have great teams playing at this event, some of the best players in the world are taking part of this event. If it doesn’t happen, we will have to be very creative to sell these tickets and to fill the stadia,” Agberto Guimaraes said.
Brazil to play opening match of 2019 Copa America on June 14th in Sao Paulo. The opponent of Brazilian team will be confirmed on 24 January when draft will take place.
