Test cricket returns to Pakistan…….!!!!!!!!!!!
Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) have agreed to PCB’s proposal of playing cricket in Pakistan. Pakistan board wanted Sri Lanka to play full series in the country but Sri-Lanka has agreed to play one test match in Lahore according to the reliable PCB source. SL to play two tests, three ODIs and three T20Is against Pakistan in October-November.
“They’ve accepted our proposal and it would be a fantastic opportunity for us to host them. Although they are not going to play full series in Pakistan but at least one test match is there to be played in the nation,” a senior PCB official told Sports Mirchi.
In May 2019, Pakistan board members requested Sri Lankan board to play in Pakistan and their request has been accepted by the Asian cricket board.

“We’re looking to organize both tests in Karachi and Lahore but unfortunately at the moment, this is not possible. They have agreed to play one test in Lahore. Still we are trying best to convince them to play an ODI during the series. Fingers crossed,” he said.
The Sri-Lankan team was attacked by terrorists during 2009 tour of Pakistan and since then no test match is played in the country.

It would be first occasion when a test match will be played and the best thing about this is Sri Lanka will be the team to start international cricket in Pakistan.
Dates and official schedule of the Pakistan-Sri Lanka series will be announced in span of few days. The remaining matches of the series will be held in UAE.
