Brazil national football team is all set to play Copa America 2019 preparation matches against Qatar and Honduras, as Brazil Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed on Friday. Asian Cup winner and 2022 world cup host Qatar to meet Brazil in their first ever fixture on 5 June at Mane Garrincha Stadium in Brasilia.
The first friendly match is scheduled to start at 9:30 PM as per local watch. The other warm-up match ahead of CONMEBOL’s Copa America soccer event is scheduled to take place on 9th June at Beira-Rio Stadium from 4 PM.

Honduras and Brasil have faced-off each other on five occasions and Brazil won three times meanwhile one game ended at draw. Honduras succeed to win one match till date against Selecao. Last time these two teams played each other in 2015 and Brazil won that match by 1-0 with Roberto Firmino’s brilliant goal.

Copa America Brasil 2019 tournament is due to take place from 14 June to 7 July. Host Brazil is placed in Group-A Along with Peru, Venezuela and Bolivia. 12 teams are competing in this year’s South American football event in which Japan and Qatar are playing as guest teams.
