Asia’s prestigious football event AFC Asian Cup is heading towards it’s 17th edition in 2019 and 24 countries are set to face off each other in the competition for the first time. Previously 16 teams were part of the tournament. 2019 Asian Cup schedules to play from 5 January to 1 February.
In 2015 Asian Cup, more than 2.5 billion people witnessed live coverage of the matches on television sets. This time 8 more teams have been added to the competition and SportsMirchi has learnt that more than 4 billion people will watch AFC Asian Cup 2019 which will be hosted by United Arab Emirates.
