Adelaide Strikers
Adelaide Strikers have got an edge over Sydney 6ers as they were on the top of big bash 2014-15 points table and lost only one game in the competition which was against Perth Scorchers. Their key players Brad Hodge and Shaun Tait are returned in the final squad for the semifinal match. So it looks like they are now more stronger than before and ready to qualify for the final second time in league’s history.
Adelaide Strikers coach Dareen Berry believes that they can win the match but they have to be aware of some blasting players of 6ers.
Darren Berry said, “The two left-handers at the top of the order are dangerous players (Michael) Lumb and (Nic) Maddinson, they are match-winning players. Riki Wessels is also a dangerous hitter at the top.”
“Their bowling attack has really good balance with Brett Lee, Doug Bollinger, and Sean Abbott and Henriques as medium pacers. Then there’s Nathan Lyon the Test spinner and Stephen O’Keefe who recently played for Australia,” he added.
Sydney Sixers
Sydney Sixers are not less than Adelaide strikers as they have some great players in their squad. With Moises Henriques returning to the side for knockout match, 6ers look more stronger insights of Lumb, Maddinson, Abbott, Lee, Bolinger and Jordan Silk. Nobody can forget Silk’s inning in the last match against Sydney Thunders. Ludeman is one of the key players in Sydney Sixers in the semifinal.
Team player O’Keefe believes that 6ers needs to bat aggressively up at top order and make most out of from power play overs to beat ADS.

Stephen O’Keefe said, “We’re going to have six overs up front with the ball and our first six with the bat is going to be critical for us, if we’re going to have any chance of knocking them off. They are so skilful. They’ve got good up front bowlers and death bowlers and guys like Tim Ludeman, who have stepped up a gear. They’ve got young blokes who are doing well.”
“They bat all the way down and in their bowling they’ve got so many options, so let’s just hope they have an off night and we’re on our game.”
