Super Bowl 2016 will be the 50th edition of Super Bowl competition in American Football. It will be 46th season game of National Football League (NFL) which will decide the winner of 2015 NFL season. The Super Bowl 50 match is scheduled to take place on 7th February at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. This Super Bowl event is one of the most watched sports competition in United States. It will be first occasion when California will be hosting the Grand Finale of National Football League. Teams are not confirmed yet for Super Bowl 2016 as the NFL 2015 playoffs are scheduled to begin from 9th January. The teams will be determined with the last playoff games on 24 January.

New England Patriots will be the defending champion in Super Bowl 2016 if the qualify for the competition. Various acts will be performed during the half time in the match and NFL has confirmed that British rock group Coldplay will headline the event.

CBS is the official broadcasting partner of Super Bowl 2016 event which will bring the live coverage to USA viewers from Levi’s Stadium. The broadcaster has set the base rate of US$5 million for 30 second commercial advertisement. This price is set to symbolize the 50th edition Super Bowl.
