Wallabies (Australia Rugby Team) will be participating in the eighth edition of Rugby World Cup starting from 18 September 2015 in England. Stephen Moore will be leading Australian team in this world cup, aiming to win third title. Team is placed in the Pool A of tournament along with hosts England, Wales, Fiji and Uruguay.

Australia are the two times Rugby World Cup champions as team lifted cup in 1991 and 1999. So team will be eager for winning the cup after 16 years long period of time. While announcing the team, Australian rugby union coach Michael Cheika mentioned that it was a difficult job for management to pick 31 players who will be presenting country at the world cup.

Mr. Cheika said, “It was a very difficult process in picking only 31 players, but I know each player selected will travel to England with the full support of those team mates who won’t board the flight. Our primary focus was to select a balanced squad between youth, experience and form and this squad certainly delivers on this.

“It’s also important we select a squad that will handle the tournament play and our draw in particular at the Rugby World Cup, as well as maintain a strong competition for places in the team,” Mr. Cheika added.

Australian team will play their first game of 2015 Rugby world cup on 23rd September against Fiji at Millennium stadium in Cardiff.
