Indian 24-men hockey squad declared for Japan test series.

India’s hockey team announced for upcoming for test match series against Japan at Bhubaneshwar. The declared 24-men were involved in the preparatory camp for the Japan series which took place from 22 to 30 April, 2015 at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi. The opening game of series has been scheduled to play on 3 May.

Indian hockey team is in good form as recently they secured 3rd position in the 24th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup. On the announcement of side, Indian hockey national team head coach Mr Paul van Aas said, “The team looks confident ahead of the upcoming tournament. They are on a high post their third place finish at the 25th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and the team will aim for a series win.”

“The team has worked on the various aspects including starting the game with speed and putting the initial pressure and to keep the attack going in the final minutes of the game,” he added.
