Australia’s West Indies 2015 Tour rescheduled

West Indies Cricket Board has made some changes in the schedule of Australian series. As per the revised schedule, Australia’s tour will begin two days earlier than it was scheduled before. The warm-up match will be a three days practice match starting from 27 May, 2015.

Tour game will begin just after the conclusion of Indian Premier League. Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in Antigua will be hosting the 3 days warm-up match whereas first West Indies vs Australia test match is scheduled to play from 3rd June. The second and final test match of this Australian tour of Caribbean nation will be played from 11 to 15 June.

West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) manager of cricket operations, Roland Holder said, “We are fully aware that there are a number of fans planning to travel around and to the Caribbean for the Australia tour, and we want to explain to them that the change was absolutely necessary, due to a number of logistical challenges beyond our control.”

Tour match: 27-29 May, 2015 – Vivian Richards Cricket Ground, Antigua

1st Test: 3-7 June, 2015 – Windsor Park, Dominica

2nd Test: 11-15 June, 2015 – Sabina Park, Jamaica
