Brad Robinson said, “This injury rules Irfan out of the World Cup.”

Mohammad Irfan didn’t play last pool B match of Pakistan against Ireland and Ehsan Adil replaced him in that game. Hence we can expect that Adil will be playing against Australia on 20 March in third quarter-final of world cup.

Pakistan team management hasn’t asked for replacement yet from PCB. They are awaiting for the result of knockout match against Australia and then they’ll think about it. Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed this news.
