Dushmantha Chameera replaced Dhammika Prasad in Sri Lanka world cup 2015 squad.

International Cricket Council Event Technical Committee has approved Sri Lanka’s replacement for 2015 cricket world cup. Dhammika Prasad is ruled out from world cup due to hand injury during training session. Dushmantha Chameera has replaced Dhammika Prasad in Sri-Lankan team for 2015 world cup.

Chameera has represented Sri Lanka in only one international One Day game against New Zealand which he played last month. He took two wickets in that match.

Updated Sri Lanka squad: Angelo Mathews, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Lahiru Thirimanne, Dinesh Chandimal, Dimuth Karunaratne, Jeevan Mendis, Thisara Perera, Suranga Lakmal, Lasith Malinga, Dushmantha Chameera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Rangana Herath and Sachithra Senanayake.

Sri Lanka will play opening match of 2015 ICC world cup on 14 February against New Zealand at Christchurch.
