BCCI named 17-men roster for India’s tour of South Africa 2018. The bilateral series has been scheduled to kick off on 5th January and three test matches will be played between two nations. Limited overs sensational fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has got maiden call up for the 5-day cricket format.
Jasprit Bumrah is selected as the 5th pace bowler in the roster and he replaced spinner Kuldeep Yadav who was the part of Indian squad against Sri Lanka. African conditions favor fast bowlers as compared to spinners, hence selection committee picked Bumrah over Kuldeep.
Men in Blue looks pretty strong with their batting line-up that includes 3 regular openers KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay.

India is a good alround side at home but away from home the results are not good as the wickets r not home made for them. the money will all be on SA. at the most India can hope for a 2_1 defeat.
Best of luck India. The series is worth watching with our fingers crossed
